Our Beaver program is for boys and girls, ages 5 to 7. The Beaver program starts in September and goes to May long weekend.

Fun and friendship is the cornerstone of the Beaver Scouts program.
Beaver Scouts opens the door for your child to discover the world. It is filled with a little bit of everything – outdoor activities, games, music and sports. Along the way, Beaver Scouts meet new friends, learn cooperation and teamwork and develop self-confidence.
Beaver Scouts are welcomed into a group of energetic boys and girls just like them. They will meet with kind and caring leaders that will help them with anything they need to know about being a good Scout. They will feel respected and appreciated for their own uniqueness, and encouraged to bring all they can to their group and activities.
Beaver Scouts learn through play and activities. Games, songs and crafts are part of the ways Beavers can learn about the world they live in and how to work together. We will go outside in all types of weather so always come prepared to be outdoors. When there is snow on the ground we bring out the snow shoes and get a chance to use them and play outdoors.
We go on community visits to museums, the pool, and the firehall, just to name a few. We also go on overnight sleepovers where the Beavers can get a chance to go "camping" indoors. All our sleepovers are family events so Moms and/or Dads are welcome to come too!
We also do fundraisers. This is an awesome chance for them to learn about how they can help with raising money. We do bottle drives and sell popcorn (always with an adult) and other neat ideas.
