Camp fees, unless otherwise indicated, are $30.00 per youth per camp. This fee includes only a portion of the cost of camp rental, as well as the meals for the weekend. If your youth, or family, have not participated in the fundraising for these activities you will be asked to contribute a camp fee that reflects the actual cost of the camp.
You can also use any left over Scout Bucks to pay for camp.
Before each camp your section leader will be giving the parent a P.A.C.T.(Parent Activity Communication Template) which indicates where and when the camp is happening and what leader will be in charge. You will also be asked to confirm the Physical Fitness Form for your youth. Please ensure that these forms are returned to the section leader, with a cheque or cash, two weeks prior to camp dates, or as soon as possible. We cannot take your youth camping without the proper documentation in place.
Scouts Canada does not allow the leadership team to transport youth to and from camp. You can, as parents, organize a car pool to cut down on the traveling. Scouts Canada has outlined this in Section 10000 - Camping and Outdoor Activies of the BPP Bylaws, specifically Section 10004 - Transportation.
