All Uniforms can be purchased at the Scout Shop in Calgary on Brownsea Drive in Calgary. Please talk with your leader about any concerns you might have about the uniforms.
Beavers wear brown vest (a little larger so they can wear a coat under) and the brown and blue hat.
Cubs wear the brown shirt, and a red/yellow sash. The sash allows them to display the badges they have earned. Cubs also should get the Cub handbook that explains the Cub program and how to earn their badges. All badges, neckers, and woggles will be provided by the group.
Scouts wear the brown shirt with a red/green sash with blue pants. The sash allows them to display the badges they have earned. Scouts should also get the Scout handbook that explains the Scout program and what they can be doing. All badges, neckers and woggles will be provided by the group. Scouts may agree to wear an activity shirt with the group necker when doing patrol work or going camping.
Leaders wear the brown shirt with section specific epilets and blue pants.
A note about Badges for Cubs and Scouts. The youth do so much in school, church, sports, and other activities and they do not realize how much they do can go towards recognition for badge work. We expect the youth to look through their books and find things they have been doing in their life that can cover badge requirements. If a youth is having trouble understanding how this works, please talk with the leaders in your child's section and they will help your child find out if they have done the work needed to complete a badge. Some of the requirements for badges are as simple to earn as belonging to a choir at school or church, or participating in the Terry Fox Run, or projects completed at school.
We are starting to collect old uniforms for all sections. Please contact the leaders about how to participate in this new program.
Thanks everyone for the help with all our fundraising so far. Keep checking out the group area with more news about fundraising activities, as well as other events that are going on with all our groups.

If you are looking for ways to use unused Scout Bucks, don't forget you can use it for early Registration, or even to help pay for any outdoor activity your youth might do before the end of the year. Don't forget the Scout Bucks expire the end of June.
